Opening Reception – Meet and greet friends, old and new, and get the networking off to the right start.  We are known for our friendliness, so join us and make some new friends at this kick-off event!

Famous PEOPLE Players Dine and Dream Theatre (optional event, all welcome, but limited to 30 people) - From Broadway to Sea World, from Las Vegas to Radio City Music Hall, Canada's internationally renowned black light theatre company has become a world-renowned national treasure.  Their mission is to provide a world-class presentation and integrate people who are challenged into society. 

An evening at Famous PEOPLE Players' Dine and Dream Theatre begins with a sumptuous three-course meal — elegantly presented and exquisitely prepared.  You'll have to wait for dessert, though because after dinner is time for the Magic to begin.  The hour-long live performance combines music, dance and dazzling special effects with life-sized characters that pay tribute to the music and artistry of your favourite singers, stars and dreamers. 
Famous PEOPLE Players have dazzled viewers in the Emmy Award-winning CBS Movie of the Week, “Special People,” as well as audiences at Radio City Music Hall, on Broadway, Phil Donahue, Regis and Kathie-Lee, and Good Morning America.

Friday, June 15:

Reception and Annual Auction: HeSCA's annual auction promises a wide variety of treasures up for bid, all in support of the activities of your association. Food and drink will be available. So bring your checkbook or credit card, join your friends and colleagues, and have fun! For more information about the auction and to download an auction donation form, click here.

Note: HeSCA is a 501(c) organization and some or all of your contributions may be deductible against your federal income tax. IRS regulation limits the amount of deductions you may take as a result of your contribution of the aforementioned property. Consult a qualified tax advisor for guidance in your individual situation.

Networking Luncheon: Take this opportunity to network with colleagues over lunch. In an informal setting, you will have the opportunity to exchange ideas, experiences, and insights on topics affecting your professional life.

ABCD Member Dinner and Roundtable Discussion (ABCD members only): ABCD members will dine together followed by a lively roundtable where members will discuss their major professional challenges of the year. (Either this dinner or the Annual Banquet is included in the registration fee for ABCD members. You may purchase a ticket for the other event so you may attend both.)

Evening free to explore Toronto at night.
Toronto offers a wide array of restaurants and entertainment. So, after the auction if you'd like to get away by yourself, or with a small group of friends, this is the night!
Saturday, June 16:

Business Luncheon: Another opportunity for networking over lunch followed by the annual business meetings of HeSCA and ABCD.

Media Festival Awards Reception and Banquet: Join colleagues and guests as we recognize the best in our field. A sumptuous dinner is followed by the annual awards show. Once you've had the pleasure of congratulating all the winners, join colleagues and friends as we move to a local Toronto hot spot to dance the night away. The Awards Reception and Banquet is included in the conference registration fee. If you would like additional tickets for your spouse or friends, just request extra banquet tickets on the registration form.
