In this time of limited resources, we need to be more effective in getting our fair share. The methods we use in reaching for those resources and in seeking support for the way we wish to operate, is at the heart of politics. In this unique ABCD retreat in the political epicenter of the universe, we will explore ways to deal with bureaucratic pressures while maintaining a strong vision of what we would like our department to be. Learn how to be an effective advocate for that vision, forming relationships, as well as dealing with adversaries. (ABCD members only)

This can be accomplished without adversely affecting the experience of the rest of your site’s visitors. If approached thoughtfully, accessibility and usability may even improve the creative design of a web site.
